Nicolas Winding Refn's 'Her Hell' Debuts in Poland as Apple TV+ Sets 2027 'Neuromancer' Release

The sci‑fi thriller "Her Hell" (original title "He") by director Nicolas Winding Refn has opened in Polish cinemas. The film immerses viewers in a neon‑lit futuristic metropolis and follows the intertwined fates of a young actress named Elle (Sophie Thatcher) and a desperate soldier (Charles Melton) as they confront a mythic killer called Leatherman. The production features a soundtrack by composer Pino Donaggio and supporting performances from Diego Calva and Hidetoshi Nishijima.

Separately, Apple TV+ announced that its ten‑episode adaptation of William Gibson's cyber‑punk novel "Neuromancer" will premiere on 22 January 2027. The series follows hacker Case (Calum Turner) and his partner Molly (Brianna Middleton) in a high‑stakes espionage plot. The cast also includes Mark Strong, Peter Sarsgaard, Dane DeHaan and other notable actors. Development of a screen version of "Neuromancer" has spanned decades, with previous attempts involving Ridley Scott and Chris Cunningham, before the project secured a place on the streaming platform.

Both releases mark significant cultural events for fans of visionary science‑fiction storytelling, with "Her Hell" arriving in theatres and "Neuromancer" set for streaming audiences worldwide.
