Nicolás Occhiato sued by Florencia Peña for 750 million pesos over streaming dispute

Actress Florencia Peña was dismissed from the Luzu TV streaming channel after a live broadcast spread a false report about Jorge Messi. Following her removal, Peña filed a lawsuit seeking 750 million pesos in damages for alleged wrongful termination and reputational harm.

Luzu TV founder Nicolás Occhiato confirmed the case is now judicialised and declined to comment further, stating that he has “nothing to say” while the matter is before the courts. He also denied any loss of sponsors, claiming advertising revenue has actually increased.

Peña’s lawyer, Fernando Burlando, indicated the actress could be awarded a substantial compensation, while both parties reported that dialogue has ceased since the lawsuit was filed. The dispute remains unresolved as the legal process proceeds.
