Turkish vocational schools in Bursa and Niğde expand hands‑on training and student‑run production

Yıldırım Ticaret Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi in Bursa combines classroom learning with applied projects, international Erasmus+ collaborations in France, Poland, Finland, Germany, Spain and Austria, and a strong focus on robotics. Its students placed first and third in world categories at the RoboPlzen 2026 competition and earned a fourth‑place finish at Turkey’s national robot contest, while media‑training programmes let pupils produce news, podcasts and television content.

Niğde Hüdavent Hatun Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi trains students in six trade areas—food‑service, child development, IT, fashion design, handicrafts and beauty services. A new bakery unit will produce roughly 3,000 loaves daily for ten local boarding schools, and a student‑run hair‑salon also serves the public. The school aims to make every department a production centre, giving learners real‑world work experience before graduation.
