Nigeria prepares for World Public Relations Forum 2026

Nigeria is mobilizing its hospitality sector in preparation for the World Public Relations Forum, scheduled to take place in Abuja from November 15-22, 2026. The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations held a conference for hotel and hospitality executives to strengthen service standards ahead of the event, which is expected to host delegates from over 126 countries.

NIPR President Dr. Ike Neliaku emphasized that the quality of service provided to international visitors will significantly impact Nigeria’s global reputation. Similarly, at the 11th Nigeria Digital Public Relations Summit in Lagos, leaders discussed the role of digital platforms in preserving African cultural heritage and promoting a positive national image through digital storytelling and the documentation of indigenous knowledge.
