Nigeria rolls out 2026 youth entrepreneurship and agribusiness programmes

The NNPC/Renaissance joint‑venture has opened applications for its 2026 Enterprise Development Programme, targeting Nigerian graduates aged 18‑35 from eight states. The initiative provides business‑skills training, start‑up grant support and mentorship, with an application deadline of 16 June 2026.

The BATN Foundation has launched the 2026 Farmers for the Future (Cohort 7) programme, aimed at National Youth Service Corps members. Six finalists will receive N10 million in equity‑free grants, a year of mentorship, technical assistance and market access. The foundation said the launch comes “at a critical moment when Nigeria faces rising food insecurity, youth unemployment, and mounting pressure to diversify its economy.” Both programmes seek to create jobs, diversify the economy and build sustainable enterprises across Nigeria.
