Nigeria Super Falcons set up camp in Casablanca ahead of WAFCON

Nigeria’s women’s national team, the Super Falcons, have assembled 19 of the 25 players invited to a training camp in Casablanca, Morocco. Six players are still expected to arrive. The squad is being prepared by head coach Justine Madugu, with sessions held at the La Noria Club. Recent arrivals include Swedish club BK Hacken duo Halimatu Ayinde and Joy Omewa, as well as Pachuca Tuzas defender Osinachi Ohale and forward Chinwendu Ikezuo.

Key members already in camp are captain Rasheedat Ajibade, goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, defenders Shukurat Oladipo and Rofiat Imuran, midfielders Toni Payne and Jennifer Echegini, and forwards Asisat Oshoala, Francisca Ordega and Omorinsola Babajide. Nigeria open Group B of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations against Malawi on 28 July.
