Nigeria to host 2026 World Public Relations Forum

Nigeria is set to host the Global Alliance–World Public Relations Forum (WPRF) in November 2026. This marks the first time the association will host the global event in Africa, held alongside the African Public Relations Association (APRA) Conference.

Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas stated that the forum provides an opportunity for Nigeria to change global narratives and address misconceptions about the country. Abbas hosted Prof. Justin Green, CEO of the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management, to discuss the upcoming event.

The Global Alliance represents over 300,000 communicators across 126 countries. During the forum, Abbas is scheduled to deliver a keynote address at the Parliamentary Democracy Day and open an exhibition pavilion focused on the legislative history of the National Assembly.
