Nigeria Youth Groups Mobilise Millions in Support of President Tinubu

The Christian Youth Movement for Tinubu‑Shettima, a socio‑political organisation, says it has over 1.2 million verified members spanning all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. The group welcomes young Nigerians of all faiths and aims to connect youth with the government, mobilising support for President Bola Tinubu, Vice‑President Kashim Shettima and other APC candidates, including upcoming governorship contests in Osun and Ekiti.

At its national inauguration, the Bridge for Renewed Hope youth mobilisation network pledged to deliver 10 million votes for Tinubu in the 2027 election. Its national coordinator, Rowland Odih, said the movement will work “day and night” to achieve that target, citing more than 40 % youth participation in government structures and the administration’s youth‑inclusion policies. Both groups illustrate a growing trend of organized youth backing for the president and the ruling APC.
