Nigeria youth leader calls for political unity and action

Eze-Onyebuchi Chukwu, Chairman of the Forum of National Youth Leaders of all Political Parties in Nigeria (FNYLPP), has called for increased unity and practical engagement among young Nigerians. Speaking at the opening of the first National Youth Conference, Chukwu emphasized that political differences should not lead to national divisions, urging youth to cooperate in the interest of building a peaceful and prosperous nation.

Chukwu highlighted that while Nigeria possesses many ideas, the primary challenge remains converting these concepts into measurable actions. He urged participants to focus on practical solutions for issues such as unemployment, skills development, technology use, and political participation.

Furthermore, he stressed the importance of ensuring that recommendations emerging from the conference are effectively implemented and monitored. He noted that the platform provides a historic opportunity for young people to have a meaningful seat at the table in national decision-making processes.
