Nigerian Army Chief focuses on legal compliance and school upgrades
Nigerian Army Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Waidi Shaibu, has directed military legal officers to prioritize the protection of civilians and strengthen the administration of military justice. Speaking at a specialized training workshop in Abuja, Shaibu emphasized that legal advisers must provide commanders with timely and practical advice to ensure compliance with international humanitarian law during complex security operations.
Simultaneously, the Nigerian Army is working to improve its educational infrastructure.
