Senior ISWAP finance operative surrenders with two children in Borno
A senior finance operative of the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) surrendered to troops of Operation HADIN KAI on 25 July 2026 at about 6:45 a.m. along the Ladari–Jegarawa–Tunokalia axis of the Gamboru–Wulgo main supply route in Borno State. The suspect, identified as the chief finance operative of the ISWAP enclave at Jubillaram, turned himself in together with two male children.
Troops recovered one AK‑47 rifle, four magazines, 101 rounds of 7.62 mm ammunition, a motorcycle and ₦40,000 in cash.
