Nigeria's oil security firm TSSNL backs $1 trillion economy plan

President Bola Tinubu appointed Tantita Security Services Nigeria Ltd (TSSNL), led by High Chief Dr. Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo (known as Tompolo), to protect oil infrastructure in the Niger Delta. The firm’s surveillance and pipeline security operations have reduced oil theft, ensured uninterrupted petroleum flow and helped lower violent incidents in the region – ACLED data shows a 20.9% decline in events and an 8.3% drop in fatalities in the South‑South between 2023 and 2025. By securing the sector that provides over 75% of Nigeria’s foreign‑exchange earnings, TSSNL aims to support the federal government’s target of a $1 trillion gross domestic product by 2030.
