Nigeria's women's national team, the Super Falcons, defeated Senegal's Lionesses 3-0 in a friendly match at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne. After a goalless first half, Joy Omewa opened the scoring with a header in the 48th minute and doubled the lead six minutes later. Substitute Asisat Oshoala, brought on by head coach Justin Madugu, added the third goal after an assist from captain Rasheedat Ajibade.
