Nigeria's Tinubu and FCT Minister Wike inaugurate roads to Karsana Renewed Hope City
Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike defended President Bola Tinubu’s infrastructure record, saying “no President has provided infrastructure like Tinubu” while attending the commissioning of access roads to the Renewed Hope Cities and estates in Karsana West, Abuja. The event marked the third anniversary of Tinubu’s presidency and highlighted the opening of 10.5 km of arterial roads that link the 3,112‑unit affordable‑housing development to the Outer Northern Expressway.
President Tinubu praised Wike for delivering the roads on schedule, noting that “housing without access is a blueprint without a building.” He credited the rapid completion to the minister’s adherence to the directive to make the district reachable for civil servants, families and investors. The new infrastructure is expected to boost connectivity, economic activity and the livability of the Karsana district.
Both officials presented the project as a milestone of the administration’s Renewed Hope agenda, emphasizing the transformation of Abuja’s satellite towns through improved road networks and engineering works.
