Niigata travel providers announce autumn tourism discounts

Various travel and transportation discounts have been announced for the Niigata region to promote autumn tourism.

Toki Air, a regional airline based in Niigata, is launching its ‘GO!GO! Aki-tabi Campaign’ starting September 4, 2026. The campaign offers one-way fares starting from 5,500 yen across all routes, including connections to Hokkaido, Nagoya, and Kobe. The sale runs through September 27, 2026, for travel between September 7 and September 30, 2026. Weekday fares range from 5,500 to 7,000 yen, while weekend and holiday fares range from 5,500 to 9,000 yen.

Additionally, the ‘my route’ outing app, provided by Toyota Financial Services, will offer a discount on the ‘Tokitetsu Tour Pass’ starting September 7, 2026. This pass provides unlimited one-day travel on all Echigo Tokimeki Railway lines. The campaign will offer the adult pass at a discounted price of 2,000 yen, down from the standard 2,400 yen, through March 31, 2027.
