Nijigen no Mori announces Crayon Shin-chan Adventure Park renewal
The Crayon Shin-chan Adventure Park at Nijigen no Mori in Awaji Island, Hyogo Prefecture, has announced a major area renewal scheduled for spring 2027. As part of this transition, current attractions, including the 365-meter water zipline ‘Challenge! Action Kamen Flying Squad!’ and the 8-meter tall wooden athletic obstacle course ‘Appare! Sengoku Daiboken!’, will cease operations after October 12, 2026.
The renewal will include a new shop themed after the ‘Sato Kokonokado’ department store from the series to enhance the immersive experience. To commemorate the final year of the current attractions, a ‘Last! Doki ga Munemune ~ Daisakusen!’ campaign is underway. This includes the sale of limited-edition ‘Happy Bags’ containing various Crayon Shin-chan merchandise, such as notebooks, handkerchiefs, and badges, available from October 3, 2026, to October 12, 2026.
While the major athletic attractions will close, the ‘Nobiri no Hara’ section will remain open, featuring new content such as an indoor museum, pottery experiences, and themed play areas for children.
