Nike to launch Kobe NXT line in 2027

Nike has confirmed the launch of the Nike Kobe NXT line, a project that Kobe Bryant worked on prior to his death. The new line is intended to complete an unfinished design process started by Bryant.

Two versions are expected to debut in Summer 2027. The Nike Kobe NXT Prototype is slated to retail for $410 and will reportedly feature a Sail, Black, and Phantom colorway with a cloth upper, ZoomX 3.0 drop-in midsole, and a carbon fiber plate. A second version, the Kobe NXT 1.0, is planned to retail for $210 with multiple colorway options.

Kobe Brand VP and GM Dan Sunwoo stated, “Kobe started this project. We’re committed to carrying it forward to the finish. We’re working on launching the first unfinished project we started with Kobe.” The new design features a distinct angular outsole pattern, departing from Bryant’s traditional herringbone traction.
