Overview

Since late May 2026, Nike has expanded the Air Force 1 family and the Kobe Bryant signature line with various seasonal and collaborative releases. The lineup includes the Kobe 5 and 6 Protro ‘Dodgers’, the Kobe 8 Protro ‘Year of the Horse’, and a rare opportunity to purchase the Kobe 1 Protro ‘81 Points’ for $8.24. City-exclusive models include the Kobe 8 ‘Fade To Black’ (LA), the Kobe 6 Protro ‘Think Pink’ (Miami), and the ‘NY vs NY’ (New York).

Nike also announced upcoming Protro releases, including the Kobe 8 Protro ‘Mambacurial’ on September 19, which replaces Lunarlon with React foam, and the Kobe AD Protro ‘Purple Stardust’ expected in Fall 2026. On August 23, the $190 Kobe 10 Protro debuted with Cushlon 3.0 foam and a full-length Zoom Strobel unit. Looking toward 2027, Nike confirmed the ‘Kobe NXT’ line, an unfinished project started by Bryant. This includes the $410 Kobe NXT Prototype and the $210 Kobe NXT 1.0, both expected in Summer 2027. Additionally, Nike restocked the Mind 001 mule in new colors.
