Nikšić police process eight individuals for drug offenses

Police in Nikšić processed eight individuals following drug-related controls conducted during the Bedem Fest and Lake Fest festivals. The operations were part of planned activities to prevent the abuse and distribution of narcotics.

According to the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Nikšić, four criminal charges were filed against four individuals suspected of enabling the consumption of narcotics, specifically cocaine and marijuana. One of the suspects, a 34-year-old citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, was taken into custody.

Additionally, four other individuals faced misdemeanor charges for the possession and consumption of drugs under the Law on the Prevention of Drug Abuse.
