Nikki Sixx addresses allegations from former bandmate Mick Mars

Nikki Sixx has issued a defense against allegations made by former Motley Crue guitarist Mick Mars regarding the band's musical performances. Sixx refuted claims that he uses session musicians for recordings or pre-recorded tracks during live concerts, addressing rumors that were amplified during Mars' unsuccessful lawsuit against the band.

Sixx stated that he has played bass on every Motley Crue album and has written a significant portion of the band's music. He characterized Mars' previous statements as untrue attempts to gain leverage in a legal dispute that was dismissed earlier this year. Sixx expressed personal disappointment, noting that the situation felt like a betrayal by someone considered a brother.

Motley Crue has continued touring with guitarist John 5 and has announced a residency in Las Vegas scheduled for March to April 2027.
