Nikola Cолов wins Formula 2 sprint at Silverstone

Bulgarian driver Nikola Cолов, racing for Campos Racing, claimed victory in the Formula 2 sprint race at Silverstone in the United Kingdom. Starting from sixth on the grid, he surged forward to take the lead and crossed the finish line first, securing his fifth win of the season.

Cолов praised his team’s strategy, saying, "We didn’t expect to win today, we only wanted to finish in the top 5," and highlighted the plan to begin on soft tyres before switching to hards later in the main race. Championship leader Gabriel Mini finished second, with Rafael Villagómez third. The race featured a safety car period after an incident involving John Benet, and the drivers contended with tyre choices and DRS activation throughout the event.
