Nikola Tsokol Leads 2026 Formula 2 Championship with Six Wins

Bulgarian driver Nikola Tsokol, racing for Campos Racing, entered the summer break as the leader of the 2026 Formula 2 championship. He has secured six victories and holds a 20‑point advantage over his nearest rival, Gabriel Mini.

Tsokol highlighted the importance of the team’s winter work, saying the early‑season difficulties helped improve their approach. He praised the double win at Silverstone, which also gave him a record of three consecutive race victories. Despite qualifying fifth at that event, he expressed satisfaction with the result and confidence that the car’s performance can be further maximised.

Looking ahead, Tsokol emphasized a strategic focus on consistency rather than winning every race, noting that the team’s off‑season efforts are now paying off.
