Nikola Tsolov predicted to join Racing Bulls for 2027 F1 season

A supercomputer simulation published by GiveMeSport predicts that 19-year-old Bulgarian driver Nikola Tsolov will make his Formula 1 debut with Racing Bulls in the 2027 season. According to the model, Tsolov would be paired with 18-year-old Briton Arvid Lindblad, creating one of the youngest driver pairings in the history of the sport.

This prediction follows Tsolov’s recent performance in Formula 2 and his first F1 test at Imola, where he completed approximately 700 kilometers driving the Racing Bulls VCARB02. While Racing Bulls team principal Alan Permane has described Tsolov as ‘next in line’ for promotion, the team has noted that final decisions regarding the 2027 lineup have not yet been made.

The simulation also suggests several other shifts in the 2027 grid, including Isack Hadjar joining Max Verstappen at Red Bull, Oliver Bearman retaining his seat at Haas alongside Rafael Camara, and the absence of Liam Lawson from a permanent seat.
