Nikon has introduced several new NIKKOR Z mount lenses designed for versatility and high performance. The NIKKOR Z 28–400mm f/4–8 VR offers a wide range of focal lengths in a single lens, suitable for various subjects from wide-angle to super-telephoto. Additionally, the NIKKOR Z 180–600mm f/5.6–6.3 VR provides significant telephoto reach for nature and sports photography, weighing approximately 1,955g and supporting Z teleconverters to extend its range up to 1,200mm.

New professional-grade zoom lenses are also slated for release, including the NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S II and the NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S II. The 70-200mm model, scheduled for release in April 2026, features a weight of approximately 998g, representing a 26% reduction from previous models, and utilizes Silky Swift VCM (SSVCM) for high-speed autofocus. The 24-70mm lens utilizes an internal zoom mechanism to maintain a constant barrel length and weighs approximately 675g.
