Nikos Karvelas misses Anna Vissi's OAKA concert

Composer Nikos Karvelas was notably absent from singer Anna Vissi’s major concert at OAKA, which was attended by approximately 95,000 spectators. While Karvelas has been a long-term collaborator and former spouse of Vissi, his absence from the event and the final dress rehearsal has drawn significant attention.

Reports indicate that the absence stemmed from an artistic disagreement that occurred during the final rehearsals at the OAKA venue. According to media reports, Karvelas participated in rehearsals until the Thursday prior to the concert, but a conflict regarding artistic direction led to his decision not to attend the performance. The disagreement reportedly did not involve financial matters or production issues, but was strictly related to artistic choices.
