Nilüfer district in Bursa hosts Karadeniz and Youth festivals

The Nilüfer Municipality in Bursa launched the second edition of the Nilüfer Karadeniz Festival at Balat Atatürk Forest on June 6‑7. The three‑day event featured regional cuisine, cultural activities and concerts by Safa Tatoğlu, Yayla Trio and Resul Dindar, drawing thousands of attendees. Mayor Şadi Özdemir, local officials and representatives of civil‑society organisations participated in the opening ceremony and highlighted the festival’s role in promoting cultural solidarity.

In a separate event, the Nilüfer Municipality and Nilüfer City Council organized the Nilüfer Youth Festival at Görükle Koşuyolu. The day‑long program offered workshops, panel discussions and stalls run by university groups and associations, culminating in performances by young musicians. Deputy mayors Bukle Erman and Emre Karagöz attended, emphasizing municipal support for youth expression and optimism for the future.
