Nilüfer Municipality demolishes illegal structures in Bursa

Nilüfer Municipality has carried out demolition operations against illegal structures in the Bursa region to protect fertile agricultural lands. The recent operations targeted two separate locations in the Büyükbalıklı and Çatalağıl neighborhoods.

In Büyükbalıklı, a 600-square-meter building used as a warehouse was demolished. Following this, teams moved to Çatalağıl to remove a 400-square-meter unlicensed structure also used for storage. In total, 1,000 square meters of illegal construction were cleared.

The demolitions were conducted under security measures provided by gendarmerie and municipal police, with medical personnel on standby to ensure the process was completed without incident.
