Nilüfer Municipality launches digital zoning tools and field visits

Nilüfer Municipality in Bursa has launched several initiatives to improve local governance and digital accessibility. The municipality has updated its City Guide and Zoning Status Inquiry systems, introducing a map-based interactive interface and 3D building visualization. A new ‘Smart Zoning Consultant’ feature has also been added to simplify technical zoning terms and regulations for citizens.

In addition to digital upgrades, the municipal management team is conducting field visits to various neighborhoods, including Gökçe, Gölyazı, and Kayapa, among others. Deputy Mayors and department managers are meeting with neighborhood mukhtars (local leaders) to identify infrastructure and environmental needs directly on-site. These visits aim to ensure that local issues are addressed through collaborative decision-making rather than solely from administrative offices.
