During these visits, officials are meeting with neighborhood mukhtars to identify infrastructure and environmental needs on-site, aiming to ensure local issues are addressed through collaborative decision-making rather than solely from administrative offices.

On August 26, Mayor Şadi Özdemir announced intentions to advance the Ekokent (Western Development Zone) zoning plans, which have been stalled for 18 months at the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality level. Citing the Zoning Law, Özdemir intends to put the plans on public display to address urgent transportation and urban needs, noting that the Ekokent process has been ongoing for approximately 15 years. Additionally, Deputy Mayor Murat Beşikci conducted community visits to discuss vocational training for women, agricultural road improvements, and a proposed condolence house project.
