Ninh Binh authorities investigate principal's misconduct video

Authorities in Ninh Binh are investigating an incident involving a school principal who was filmed slamming a table and throwing a cup during a break at Mai Son Primary School. The video, which has gained significant public attention, shows Ms. L. T. H., the principal of Yen Thang Primary School, engaging in unprofessional behavior while visiting her former workplace.

According to Mr. Mai Quang Tuc, Vice Chairman of the Yen Thang Ward People's Committee, the incident occurred on October 15, 2025, during a break period rather than an official meeting. The confrontation reportedly stemmed from personal disagreements and professional conflicts between Ms. L. T. H. and Ms. H. T. P., the current principal of Mai Son Primary School.

A working group has been established by the local authorities to further verify the causes of the conflict and resolve the matter. While the two principals had previously undergone mediation for general disagreements, the specific actions captured in the video were only brought to the attention of local leaders after the clip circulated on social media.
