Ninh Binh school principal misconduct investigation

Authorities in Ninh Binh province are investigating a viral video depicting Ms. L. T. H., the former principal of Mai Son Primary School, slamming a table and throwing a cup. Initial reports suggested the outburst occurred during an official meeting regarding the handover of school records following a leadership transfer.

Subsequent findings by the Yen Thang Ward People’s Committee clarified that the incident was not part of an official meeting or conference. Instead, the confrontation was identified as a personal disagreement that occurred while Ms. L. T. H., who has since become the principal of Yen Thang Primary School, was visiting her former workplace.

Mr. Mai Quang Tuc, Vice Chairman of the Yen Thang Ward People's Committee, stated the incident occurred on October 15, 2025, during a break period. The confrontation reportedly stemmed from professional conflicts and personal disagreements between Ms. L. T. H. and Ms. H. T. P., the current principal of Mai Son Primary School.

While the two principals had previously undergone mediation for general disagreements, the specific actions captured in the video only came to the attention of local leaders after the clip circulated on social media. A working group has been established by local authorities to further verify the causes of the conflict and resolve the matter.
