Ninh Binh man returns 14,000,000 VND mistaken bank transfer

A man in Ninh Binh, Pham Vinh Quang, proactively reported a mistaken bank transfer of 14,000,000 VND to the local police. After receiving the unexpected funds on May 7, 2026, Quang contacted the Chau Son Ward Police to help identify the sender.

Authorities identified the sender as Do Dinh Quyet, a resident of Hanoi. Following police intervention and verification, Quang returned the full amount to Quyet at the Chau Son Ward Police headquarters on May 8.
