Nintendo announces Switch 2 Choose-Your-Game bundle for Japan

Nintendo has announced a new “Choose-Your-Game” bundle for the Nintendo Switch 2, specifically for the Japanese market. Scheduled for release on November 12, 2026, the bundle is priced at 63,980 yen.

This package includes a Japanese-language system console and a digital download code for one of three selected titles: “Mario Kart World”, “Nintendo Switch Sports Resort”, or “Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream”. Choosing the most expensive title, “Mario Kart World”, offers a potential saving of up to 4,980 yen compared to purchasing the console and game separately.

The download codes provided in the bundle are valid until March 31, 2027. While the bundle is exclusive to Japan, the announcement has drawn mixed reactions from fans, with some welcoming the value and others expressing nostalgia for previous Nintendo subscription or bundle services.
