Mitsubishi launches new Pajero SUV in Thailand

Mitsubishi Motors has officially launched the new generation of its flagship Pajero cross-country SUV in Thailand. Produced at the Laem Chabang plant in Chonburi, the vehicle is intended to serve as a central hub for Mitsubishi’s global production and export strategy.

The new Pajero aims to combine traditional off-road capability and durability with modern passenger-car comfort and premium refinement. In Thailand, the model is available in three variants: the GLS 2.4 8AT 4x2, the GSR 2.4 8AT 4x2, and the top-tier Super Exceed 2.4 8AT 4x4.

Following the Thai debut, sales are scheduled to begin in Australia and Japan in mid-December. Mitsubishi plans to gradually expand the Pajero to approximately 100 markets and regions worldwide starting in the 2027 fiscal year, including locations in the Middle East and Latin America.
