Nio Inc. Expands Export Operations and Raises Average Selling Price

Nio Inc. has registered a wholly‑owned export‑focused sales company in Zhoushan, a city on the Ningbo‑Zhoushan port, China. The new entity, Zhoushan Weileying Automobile Sales and Service Co., was founded on July 2 with a registered capital of 10 million yuan—double the capital of comparable regional units—signalling a role in supporting export logistics and supply‑chain functions for the automaker.

In June, Nio’s premium brand recorded an average selling price of 443,000 yuan, a 14% increase from the first‑quarter average. The rise was driven by strong deliveries of the ES9 flagship SUV, which reached 10,000 cumulative units within about 30 days. The ES9’s ramp boosted the brand’s monthly ASP and contributed to a broader turnaround in Nio’s group‑wide pricing after a period of declines.

These developments underscore Nio’s dual strategy of expanding its overseas sales infrastructure while improving profitability through higher‑priced models.
