Nio reports nearly 200 million km driven with smart assisted‑driving in June

Nio released its June 2026 smart assisted‑driving usage report, showing that the system logged close to 200 million kilometres across its fleet. After the world‑model update rolled out on 18 June to more than 700,000 users, city‑navigation assistance mileage rose 65.4% in the following two weeks, reaching almost three times the share it had before the update. Month‑on‑month, city‑navigation mileage grew 32.2% compared with May.

The active‑safety suite, including automatic emergency braking, obstacle‑warning, automatic emergency avoidance (AES) and other features, helped avoid over 330,000 incidents in June. The AES function was expanded to detect cones, water barrels and fences. Smart parking assistance was used more than 9.34 million times, saving users about 83,000 hours of parking time, with the remote‑park feature alone invoked nearly 800,000 times.
