Niseko Shuzo sake varieties launched at Osaka seafood restaurant

Hokkaido Kaisen Nihonichi Fukushima, a seafood restaurant in Osaka, has begun serving four varieties of sake from Niseko Shuzo, a brewery based in Kutchan, Hokkaido.

The selection includes the limited edition Junmai Ginjo ‘Nakagokoro’, which is brewed using ‘Kitashizuku’ rice grown by students at Kutchan Agricultural High School. Other offerings include Niseko Kitashizuku Junmai Daiginjo Genshu, Niseko Suisei Junmai Ginjo, and a special Junmai sake produced for the brewery festival.

Niseko Shuzo utilizes Hokkaido-grown rice such as ‘Suisei’, ‘Ginpu’, and ‘Kitashizuku’, combined with local water from the Niseko Yoichi mountain range to produce its distinct varieties.
