Niseko Shuzo sake distribution in Osaka

Overview

A seafood restaurant in Osaka, Hokkaido Kaisen Nihonichi Fukushima, has started serving four different varieties of sake from the Kutchan-based brewery Niseko Shuzo.

The selection features the limited edition Junmai Ginjo ‘Nakagokoro’, which uses ‘Kitashizuku’ rice cultivated by students at Kutchan Agricultural High School. Other available varieties include Niseko Kitashizuku Junmai Daiginjo Genshu, Niseko Suisei Junmai Ginjo, and a special Junmai sake created for a brewery festival. Niseko Shuzo produces its sake using local water from the Niseko Yoichi mountain range and Hokkaido-grown rice varieties such as ‘Suisei’, ‘Ginpu’, and ‘Kitashizuku’.
