Nissan and Aguascalientes reaffirm strategic automotive alliance

The Governor of Aguascalientes, Tere Jiménez, met with Iván Espinosa, President and CEO of Nissan Motor Corporation, to discuss the company’s ongoing projects and opportunities to strengthen the automotive industry within the state. The meeting took place at the A1 plant facilities.

Jiménez emphasized Nissan’s role as a primary driver of the state's economy, noting its impact on direct employment and the broader ecosystem of supplier companies. She reaffirmed the state government's commitment to coordinating with Nissan to support its growth and investment. The partnership, which spans over four decades, has positioned Aguascalientes as a major manufacturing hub and a key production center for Nissan in Latin America.
