Nissan Announces New Electric Models Including Juke and Micra EV

Nissan Motor Corporation outlined plans to broaden its electric‑vehicle lineup in Europe. The company will introduce a fully electric version of the compact Juke, targeted for launch in 2027, described by CEO Ivan Espinosa as “compact, agile and unmistakably Nissan, with personality and character.” An entry‑level EV developed together with Renault will also be added, aiming to compete with models such as the Renault Twingo. In addition, Nissan highlighted the Micra EV, a small city car based on the Renault 5 platform, and refreshed versions of the Ariya and Leaf models to meet current standards.

The expanded range is intended to cover segments from city cars to family crossovers, strengthening Nissan’s EV presence in the European market amid intensifying competition from other manufacturers.
