Nissan Kicks Art Car unveiled at Brazil's Cherry Blossom Festival
Nissan Motor Co. transformed a Kicks SUV into the "Nissan Kicks Art Car" by applying a custom graffiti paint job created by Brazilian street‑artist Tico Canato. The exclusive‑trim vehicle, built at Nissan’s Resende (RJ) plant, was displayed for the first time during the 55th Festa da Cerejeira em Flor in Campos do Jordão, São Paulo state. Canato incorporated vivid colors and his signature character Ondi, aiming to highlight urban dreams, the energy of city life and to honor the factory workers who produce the model.
The Art Car also showcases the latest Kicks generation features, including the Nissan Safety Shield suite of 23 driver‑assistance technologies, a 12.3‑inch digital instrument cluster (combined with a 24.6‑inch multimedia screen in top trims), and a 1.0‑liter turbocharged engine delivering 125 hp. The collaboration blends automotive design with contemporary Brazilian graffiti culture.
