Nissan Kicks e-POWER receives over 11,000 reservations in Japan

Nissan Motor announced that its newly launched All‑New Kicks e‑POWER compact SUV has attracted strong demand in Japan. By August 3, cumulative reservations reached 11,388 units, surpassing the 10,000‑unit milestone recorded on July 27. Of the total, 4,794 vehicles have already been delivered. The premium G and X+ trims accounted for 86 % of orders, with the G variant alone representing 45 % and X+ 41 %. Nissan attributes the popularity to the richer equipment levels of these grades, while the lower‑priced X trim captured only 14 % of bookings. The company also highlighted the high uptake of its e‑4ORCE four‑wheel‑drive system, which made up 35 % of reservations, and the strong preference for factory options such as NissanConnect infotainment and Bose sound systems. Marketing manager Akira Transichi explained that the market response exceeded expectations, especially for the higher‑spec models.
