Overview

On 14 July, Nissan launched the fourth‑generation Elgrand minivan, its first complete redesign in 16 years. The Elgrand features a redesigned exterior with ‘Kumiko’ patterns and an interior designed to resemble a private lounge, including ‘Zero Gravity Seats’. It utilizes a 1.5 L turbocharged e‑POWER system and includes e‑4ORCE technology across all models. Following its debut at the Japan Mobility Show 2025, the model entered the market in July 2026. As of 23 August, the Elgrand has received approximately 8,900 orders. Demand is heavily skewed toward premium specifications; the ‘G e-4ORCE’ grade accounts for 57% of orders, and over 90% of customers are opting for high-end grades when including ‘AUTECH’ and ‘VIP’ custom versions. Popular colors include ‘Prism White’ (40%) and ‘Midnight Black’ (32%). Additionally, 40% of buyers selected the twin glass roof, while another 40% opted for the combination of the Bose Premium Sound System and ProPilot 2.0.
