Nissan Latin America surpasses one million units sold

Nissan Latin America has surpassed one million units sold since consolidating its regional business operations in November 2023. During the Nissan Vision LATAM event, Iván Espinosa, President and CEO of Nissan Motor Co., announced a new target to sell 500,000 units during the 2027 fiscal year.

The region, which covers 39 markets, currently accounts for approximately 15% of the company's global sales and 25% of its total worldwide production. In the 2025 fiscal year (April 2025 to March 2026), the region sold over 427,000 units and produced more than 600,000 vehicles, achieving a 7% cumulative market share.

Sales performance is heavily concentrated in Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina, which together represent 85% of the region's accumulated sales. Mexico has maintained a leadership position in sales for 18 consecutive years. Both Mexico and Brazil serve as strategic production and export hubs for international markets. Key contributing models include the Frontier pickup, the Versa sedan, and the Kicks family. To reach future goals, Nissan plans to renew its portfolio and integrate new electrified technologies.
