Nissan launches fourth-generation Elgrand luxury MPV

Nissan has launched the fourth-generation Elgrand, marking the first full model change for the luxury MPV in approximately 16 years. Following its debut at the Japan Mobility Show 2025, the new model is scheduled for market release in July 2026.

The new Elgrand features a redesigned exterior incorporating traditional Japanese ‘Kumiko’ patterns in the grille and lighting. It is built on a larger chassis than its predecessor, measuring 4995mm in length with a 3000mm wheelbase. The interior is designed to resemble a private lounge, featuring a 14.3-inch display, 64-color ambient lighting, and ‘Zero Gravity Seats’ in the second row.

Powertrain options include Nissan’s third-generation ‘e-POWER’ hybrid system, utilizing a 1.5-liter turbo engine for power generation. All models will feature ‘e-4ORCE’ electric four-wheel-drive technology. Safety features include standard ProPILOT assistance, with ProPILOT 2.0 available as an option.

In conjunction with the launch, wheel manufacturer RAYS has already verified compatibility for its VERSUS VOUGE SE 21-inch wheels, offering immediate customization options for the new flagship minivan.
