Nissan rolls out new e-POWER Kicks SUV and Elgrand minivan in Japan

Nissan unveiled a full‑model change for its compact SUV Kicks, introducing the third‑generation e‑POWER system and a 4WD variant. The new Kicks measures 4,355 mm in length and emphasizes improved quietness, ride comfort and a more premium interior, with the 4WD version offering enhanced suspension tuning and reduced cabin noise.

On the same day the company launched the fourth‑generation Elgrand minivan, the first complete redesign in 16 years. The Elgrand now measures 4,995 mm long, 1,895 mm wide and 1,975 mm high, with a 3,000 mm wheelbase and a 2‑2‑3 seven‑seat layout. All models feature the third‑generation e‑POWER powertrain paired with the e‑4ORCE all‑wheel‑drive system. Prices start at ¥6,897,000 for the base X e‑4ORCE trim and ¥7,579,000 for the G e‑4ORCE version. The vehicle includes a 14.3‑inch integrated display, extensive ambient lighting, zero‑gravity seats, and optional premium audio and driver‑assist packages.
