Nissan outlines 'Nissan Vision' strategy through 2030
Nissan Motor España has outlined its 'Nissan Vision' strategy, a global roadmap aimed at driving growth through 2030. During a presentation in Barcelona regarding the updated Nissan Ariya and the new X-Trail, Francesc Corberó, Director of Communication for Nissan Motor España, emphasized that the transition to electric vehicles must be orderly and based on customer choice, noting that not all consumers are prepared for total electrification.
The strategy is built upon four primary pillars: the integration of new technologies and artificial intelligence, advancements in electrification, a global product strategy, and the strengthening of technological alliances. A significant focus will be placed on software development, including the anticipated 2027 launch of 'Nissan Copilot,' an AI-based solution designed to enhance vehicle connectivity and driver assistance.
