Nissan plans 2026 Black Limited version of Note compact car

Nissan's compact Note received a minor facelift in January 2024, improving its exterior design while retaining the 1.2‑litre e‑POWER hybrid system. Industry observers expect the automaker to introduce a special “Note Aura NISMO Black Limited” edition in August 2026. The proposed model would feature a black‑themed exterior with dark‑tone front spoiler, side sills, alloy wheels and interior trims, while retaining NISMO‑tuned chassis and the second‑generation e‑POWER drivetrain. Additional equipment is forecast to include a 9‑inch NissanConnect navigation system, blind‑spot monitoring, rear‑cross‑traffic alert and other safety technologies.

The Black Limited edition aims to enhance the vehicle’s sportier image and upscale feel, addressing criticisms of the current model’s high‑speed fuel economy while preserving its responsive driving character.
