Nissan reaches 1.25 million electrified vehicle sales in Europe

Nissan announced that it has sold a total of 1.25 million electrified vehicles in the European market since the launch of the Leaf in 2010. About 350,000 of those units are fully electric, highlighting the brand’s early role in the continent’s EV transition.

The company’s current European line‑up now includes the third‑generation Leaf, the new Micra, an updated Ariya, and models equipped with its e‑Power hybrid system such as the Qashqai and X‑Trail. Nissan also unveiled plans for a compact, affordable electric model for the A‑segment in partnership with Renault, based on the new Twingo platform, and a fully electric Juke slated for early 2027.

The milestone was presented at a press event in Barcelona, where Nissan emphasized its strategy of offering both pure‑electric and e‑Power solutions to meet a wide range of driver needs.
