Nissan reaches 1.25 million electrified vehicle sales in Europe

Nissan announced it has sold 1.25 million electrified vehicles in Europe since the launch of the Leaf in 2010, of which about 350,000 are fully electric.

The current European lineup includes the new electric Micra hatchback, third‑generation Leaf, Ariya and refreshed X‑Trail and Qashqai equipped with e‑POWER. Nissan also plans to introduce an A‑segment electric model and a fully electric Juke within the next 12 months. Regional vice‑president Clíodhna Lyons said the customer is at the centre of Nissan’s electrification strategy, stressing the company’s offering of fully electric, e‑POWER hybrid and conventional hybrid options.
